The fore-end of the AR-15-platform rifle is arguably the most versatile component. While pistol grips and buttstocks can be changed out easily, the fore-end allows attachment of a myriad different devices, from laser sights, vertical foregrips, lights and bipods just to name a few.

ATI's AR-15 Tactical Freefloat Fore-end is designed for rifle-length gas systems and allows attachment of accessories at the 2-, 4-, 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-o'clock positions. One 15-inch, low-profile rail section is included for the 12-o'clock position for front sights if needed/desired, and two additional lengths of Picatinny rails (2-inch and 4-inch) are included for attachment of other accessories.

Constructed of Military Type III anodized, 6061 T6 aluminum, the fore-end weighs 11.9 ounces (not counting rail sections or accessories) and is vented for increased cooling under rapid fire conditions. Installation instructions are included and, depending on the configuration of the AR-15, may require specialized tools to install.

MSRP: $159.99.
