Several years ago, I picked up a stripped AR-15 lower from York Arms. When I saw the lower parts kit from CMMG, the color-coded bags intrigued me and got me thinking about finishing the lower.

CMMG, as it turns out, also has the receiver extension and stock kit needed to finish that build. A six-position receiver extension, standard M4-type stock and carbine buffer and spring are included in the kit along with the hardware needed to secure it (if you're in need of a carbine wrench, we've covered those).

Whether you're finishing a stripped lower or changing a fixed stock over to an adjustable one, the CMMG receiver extension and stock kit is handy, one-stop shopping for your needs. Once installed, the M4-type stock allows a range of adjustments that can change the length-of-pull on your AR-15 to suit a wide variety of shooters.

MSRP: $99.95
