LaserLyte Score Tyme Training Target

We've covered LaserLyte's laser-activated targets previously here at Shooting Illustrated. The targets make excellent training aids and make dry-firing more productive, not to mention more fun (which means you're far more likely to actually do it).

The company has outdone themselves with the Score Tyme Training target. With a training mode as well as the "Score Tyme" mode, you can compete against yourself (or others...) to see how high of a score you can get in a limited time period (or should that be "tyme" period?).

In the training mode, the target functions as a high-tech laser target. Hits are recorded as long as you would like, and when "Display" is activated, hits appear on the target as red dots. A score based on the familiar 10/9/8/etc. rings is calculated and displayed.

In the Score Tyme mode, first the time interval (5-, 10- or 15-second intervals are the choices) is selected, then "Start" is activated. A short countdown beeps to ready, and then shots are taken at the target until the specified time has elapsed.

The unit works with all LaserLyte laser inserts, from the LT-PRO to the caliber-specific units and even the dedicated LaserLyte training pistols. One last note: Be careful - it's addictive!

MSRP: $349.95.
