According to the 2023 annual report from gunbroker.com, the SIG Sauer P365 was the firearm that sold in the highest volume among retailers using its services last year. The SIG P320 took second-place honors. In 2022 the pistols claimed third and first place, respectively.
“The SIG P365 and SIG P320 are unequivocally America’s favorites,” said Tom Taylor, chief marketing officer and executive vice president of commercial sales at SIG Sauer. “The announcement from gunbroker.com that our flagship pistols have garnered the top two spots on their top-selling list is a resounding endorsement of the innovation, quality, and safety craved by consumers and synonymous with the SIG Sauer brand.”
The SIG Sauer P320 has been chosen by all branches of the U.S. military, numerous law enforcement agencies, professional shooters, consumers and numerous other military units worldwide. It offers unmatched modularity, unprecedented accuracy, uncompromising reliability and defines the modern handgun.
Third-place honors went to Mossberg’s Model 590. The move is a significant one for the pump-action shotgun, which occupied a distant sixth position in 2022. Although introduced in its original form in 1988, the timelessness of platform and appealing variants available show in the sales figures.
Fourth place also highlights how performance never goes out of style. Ruger’s venerable 10/22 took that position, despite celebrating a 59th birthday last year. It moved up from fifth position the year before.
Henry’s Big Boy lever-action rifle made the biggest move among the top five, climbing from 25th slot in 2022 to fifth in 2023. Its popularity hasn’t escaped the notice of other manufacturers, though. Smith & Wesson, for example, introduced its first ever lever action in January.
