Timney Introduces Calvin Elite Custom Trigger

Timney launched its new Calvin Elite Custom Trigger for the AR-15 and Remington 700 platforms, allowing owners to fine-tune their trigger design and fit to conform to their personal preferences, ensuring a custom feel.

For the company's AR-15 trigger option, Timney redesigned the internals on the Calvin Elite Custom, ensuring that the unit provides shooters with a reliable 5-pound hammer spring along with a 1.5-pound trigger pull. One of the highlights of the new drop-in trigger is the improved reset, designed to provide shooters with one of the quickest resets available for the AR platform.

The Timney Calvin Elite Custom is sold with four separate trigger shoes: curved, flat, heeled and knurled. The trigger is also completely adjustable for length of pull, cast and height, enabling users to built the ultimate custom trigger for their shooting tastes.

The company also offers an option for the Remington 700 rifle, which features many of the same internal features as the company's Calvin Elite line of triggers, ensuring that a customer favorite remains true to the needs of the end users.

However, the Calvin Elite Custom allows for further refining of the trigger pull through the use of different shoes and custom adjustments. 

The suggested retail price for the AR-15 model of the Timney Calvin Elite Custom Trigger is $299.95, while the Remington 700 version retails at a suggested price of $259.95.
