The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has chosen Vista Outdoor’s Speer Ammunition brand as the awardee for the company's 9 mm Service Ammunition. Customs and Border Patrol is one of the world’s largest law enforcement agencies tasked, obviously, with border security in addition to overseeing lawful international trade and travel. This single-award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract is a Strategically Sourced contract for all DHS components and other federal agencies with a maximum value of $112 Million dollars. The ordering period is for a total of five years with product delivery commencing this August.
