The versatile Oscar 7 combines extra-low dispersion (ED) glass with high-light transmittance (HT) glass to offer users maximum in color clarity as well as image sharpness and brightness. The 82 mm spotting scope, BAK4 prisms and multi-coated lenses create unmatched resolution and image contrast.
The technology of the Oscar 7 is safeguarded in a magnesium prism housing with durable rubber armor. The housing not only protects but acts as an ergonomic non-slip grip for use in any weather.
The angled eyepiece configuration of the Oscar 7 was created for ultimate versatility to suit the user in any position. It features a multi-position twist-up eyecup, 20 to 60x magnification and a precision-ground 82 mm objective size. A dual speed focus adjustment has been incorporated into the Oscar 7. Users can quickly focus of fast target acquisition and then utilize the fine focus to help identify details.
The Oscar 7 is waterproof, fog proof, has a clear focus distance of 16 feet, an eye relief of 18/20 mm and an exit pupil of 4.1/1.4 mm. It weighs 64 ounces and has an overall length of 15.3 inches.
