SIG Sauer Ammunition was introduced last year with initial, single-weight bullets for each caliber and the promise of additional weights as the product line matured. For the 9 mm line, the NATO-standard 124-grain bullet has been joined by a 115-grain counterpart.

With the SIG V-Crown cartridge, this new 9 mm ammunition has the same stacked hollow point bullet design, coated brass case and low flash propellant as the extant line, but in a lighter bullet weight. This 115-grain weight is consistent with many different types of practice ammunition available, meaning you can practice with the same bullet weight you'll be carrying (or carry the same bullet weight with which you practice...)

Given the great performance verified in our testing of SIG Sauer ammunition, this new 9 mm fodder should function just fine with any modern handgun. Of course, it's always a good idea to test any ammunition you're intending to use for self-defense with its intended firearm, but with the SIG track record behind it, there should be little question about whether it will work or not.

MSRP: $22.17.
