Go back in time just a few years, and you’ll see that there was one (count it, one!) pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm. That changed in 2020, and now Smith & Wesson is the latest manufacturer to come out with a higher-capacity pistol chambered in this once-exotic round. The M&P 5.7 has a great list of features such as an innovative rotating barrel action, a threaded barrel, a slide cut for optics and a 22 round capacity magazine, proving that 5.7x28mm is not only here to stay, but growing in popularity every day.
New For 2023: The Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 Pistol
A slide cut for optics, a threaded barrel and a 22 round magazine are the icing on a 5.7x28mm cake.
