For many, many years the Colt 1911 has been a popular handgun in America, partly because it was the handgun of choice for the United States military. In 1990 the Beretta M9 officially entered service with the U.S. military, replacing the 1911. It immediately gained favor with American shooters, just as the 1911 had. It’s an undisputed fact that civilians like to arm themselves with the same or at least similar firearms of their country’s military. Part of arming yourself like the military can extend beyond the firearm to the ammunition. Afterall, if you want to have the same gun as our soldiers, wouldn’t you want to be able to load it with the same ammo? Well, thanks to Winchester, now you can.
