It’s no secret long-range competition continues to be one of the hottest segments of the shooting world, which helps explain the widespread proliferation of the chassis rifle among many major manufacturers. Capitalizing on the success of its original Model 700 PCR, Remington introduced the Model 700 PCR Enhanced at the 2020 SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

The new PCR Enhanced boasts several new features, including a fully Cerakoted chassis frame, handguard and barreled action. Available in 6 mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Win., the new rifle comes equipped with a 10-round Magpul magazine and fully adjustable MDT Skeleton carbine stock, which is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy for unmatched rigidity and immunity to atmospheric conditions. The result is an incredibly stable, consistently accurate platform that’s ideal for long-range enthusiasts of all stripes.

The PCR Enhanced is built with a 24-inch barrel with 5R rifling and comes with a sub-MOA guarantee that is confirmed with Remington’s advanced CATS (Computer Aided Targeting System) prior to shipping. The barrel utilizes LTR flutes and comes equipped with a threaded muzzle protector. The handguard features M-Lok attachment points and two Picatinny rails for optics and accessories mounting.

Thanks to an MDT skeletonized buttstock, the PCR Enhanced is highly adjustable and can be customized to the unique physiology of every shooter. The stock utilizes a SuperCell recoil pad that reduces felt recoil by up to 54 percent over standard factory pads. The rifle also features Remington’s X-Mark Pro externally adjustable trigger, which can be adjusted from 3.5 to 5 pounds. The trigger breaks cleanly and has virtually zero creep, offering premium performance and ultimate accuracy from a factory trigger.

The PCR Enhanced also comes with a Magpul pistol grip, oversized bolt handle and beveled mag well for easy magazine loading. The removable handguard makes for easy cleaning and barrel access, while a mechanically bedded and free-floated barrel aids in the accuracy department.
