Maxim Defense is known for its first-class line of stocks, pistol braces, and accessories, and for 2019, the company's come out with something new, a complete firearm, the new PDX in either 7.62x39 and 5.56 NATO calibers. Available in SBR and pistol formats, the PDX delivers the punch of a combat rifle round in a package that’s easy to carry and easy to use.

The Maxim Defense PDW brace is a nifty way to extend the utility of your AR-style pistol, and Maxim is putting their expertise with shorter-length ARs to use in their new line of firearms. At the heart of the PDX is the newly developed Maxim SCW stock system, a patent-pending design with cuts down the length of the stock from the 7-inch collapsed length of a GI M4 stock to only 4 inches. Featuring an integrated BCG with interchangeable buffer weights to give you the flexibility to maximize performance, reliability and versatility with varying types of ammunition, without sacrificing functionality or form.

The Maxim Defense is a product of the recent Special Forces Command PDW solicitation, the new Maxim Defense PDX is designed around the fierce demands of our nation’s most elite front-line troops. By providing both 7.62x39 and 5.56 NATO models, there is a PDX that will fit your mission profile, whether it’s saving lives overseas or protecting your family here in America. With an overall length of just 18.75 inches and weighing just under 6 pounds, the PDX is perfect for close quarter encounters, and yet still delivers maximum energy on target and accurate shots at longer distances.
