Ed Brown Products is expanding on its collaboration with ZEV Technologies, Inc. to create the  EB/ZEV 191, now available in Flat Dark Earth (FDE). By teaming up ZEV's unique styling with Ed Brown's classic quality 1911, the new FDE model continues the success of the prior year EB/ZEV pistols. The sophisticated and detailed slide cuts on the EB/ZEV 1911 FDE show off both ZEV's innovative designs and Ed Brown's state-of-the-art custom machining ability.

John May, sales and marketing director for Ed Brown Products says, “Our collaboration with ZEV continues to get the latest, cutting edge product to our customers and this FDE addition is no exception. We listen to our customers and strive to meet their requests.”

The Commander Lightrail 9 mm pistol is fully machined and features a ZEV Orion slide cut package. The FDE version features FDE upper and lower with black accents for a striking appearance and a black-nitride treated threaded barrel with ZEV dimples. The front strap and blended magwell housing feature the new Alien metal treatment from Ed Brown, which is perfectly matched with the Alien grips. The EB/ZEV 1911 FDE is rounded out with a scalloped lightrail, recessed slide stop with serrated pin, and a Trijicon RMR red dot sight with co-witnessing tritium night sights. As with all Ed Brown 1911s, it is hand-fit with fully machined parts, and backed with a Lifetime Warranty.

This collaboration between Ed Brown and ZEV Technologies isn't the only new handgun design brewing. Along with this collaboration, ZEV Technologies also announced the launch of its first-ever pistol in the form of the ZEV O.Z-9, which uses a specially developed chassis that allows for customization. The MSRP on the EB/ZEV 1911 FDE is, $5,295.00, and for more information on Ed Brown products, visit edbrown.com.
