The New Dan Wesson Tactical Compact Pistol combines a match-grade bull barrel and a new railed, alloy frame to deliver a great combination of concealability and shootability. The Tactical Compact Pistol is a built to be an all-day-carry handgun for those who prefer the 1911 platform and demand outstanding accuracy in a carry pistol.

Each Dan Wesson Tactical Compact Pistol features a compact, stainless-steel slide beveled in a tri-top design to create a smoother profile for easier and faster holstering and drawing. The highly textured slide serrations let you get a good grip during loading and unloading, and the top rib on the DW TCP slide helps reduce glare. The pistol features Dan Wesson's new U-notch rear sight with a wide .156-inch-wide notch that is paired with a brass-bead front sight to allow for fast target acquisition and sight alignment.

The DW TCP sports a 4-inch bull barrel that balances accuracy and adequate sight radius with ease of carry. The barrel has a 30-degree crown and is flush cut for easier disassembly. There's also a tactical rail under the barrel so a light or laser can be attached.

The TCP's grips are also new from Dan Wesson, with a tapered profile that is slim at the top and full-width at the bottom, giving shooters with smaller hands an easier reach to the trigger. With three facets that mimic the distinctive slide, the serrated features on the grip encourage a high, deep grip, as does the undercut trigger guard.

The grip frame on the TCP is full-sized and it has a similar recoil system to the Dan Wesson ECO pistol, making it very stable platform, and it also has a flat-wire recoil spring rated for 15,000 rounds—three times the round count of a typical 1911 dual recoil-spring setup.

Complete with a Dan Wesson one-piece mag well, flat K-style trigger, and square hammer, the TCP tips the scales at just 32 ounces. Available in .45 ACP with a Black Duty finish, the DW TCP is set up well to work as a concealed-carry pistol, home-defense gun or just having fun on the range.
