Canik has been making value-priced pistols for quite some time now, and the all-new TP9 Elite Combat Executive pistol, based on 2019’s TP9 Elite Combat is loaded with features and upgrades in a partnership between the Turkish firearms manufacturer and Salient Arms International, a company known for its highly customized handgun designs.

The Elite Combat Executive performance upgrades added by Salient Arms International are designed to make this gun an even more effective self-defense pistol. The pistol includes a distinctive, fluted match-grade PVD-over-nitride coated gold-toned barrel by Salient and a black, polymer frame topped with a nitride-coated jet-black slide. The barrel on the Executive is suppressor-ready with 1/2 x 28 TPI RH threads for use with most common pistol suppressors.

The TP9 Elite Combat Executive includes a new flat-face aluminum trigger with a black full-face safety. The optics-ready slide comes with an optics mounting plate and charging handle, which is compatible with most of today's popular slide-mounted reflex sights. A side-reversible, extended magazine release and additional backstrap for customizing the fit is included, along with a new retention holster with Slide Lock Release.

The slide, barrel and small steel parts on the TP9 Elite Combat Executive are nitride-coated for added ruggedness and reduced friction, and all the internal components are either nitride or high-wear nickel-coated for even more durability and friction reduction. The collaboration with Salient Arms includes other features such as the barrel and thread protector, an aluminum Speed Funnel magazine well and sight set with a fiber-optic front sight. A 15-round magazine with a +3 extension for a total of 18 rounds is included with the gun.

Only a limited quantity of the TP9 Elite Combat Executive pistol will be produced. These Salient Arms-tuned guns will be shipping in early May of 2019 with an MSRP is $749.99. More information is available at canikusa.com.
