Designed as a lightweight, accurate, semi-automatic precision rifle, the all-new Rise Armament 1121XR rifle is chambered in the proven 6.5 Creedmoor round for tack-driving accuracy at distance.
“The 1121XR his levels of accuracy that a gas gun has never seen,” says Matt Torres, president of Rise Armament. “With its emphasis on accuracy, it helps shooters remove their limits, making virtually any shooter better.”
Accuracy was priority No. 1 in the development of the 1121XR, and the company guarantees sub-MOA performance out of this dedicated precision platform. Additionally, one of the other focuses in the construction of this gas gun was to reduce the overall weight of the platform, making it easy to tote in the field and transport to and from the firing line. The total weight on the rifle is 10 pounds, 4 ounces.
With the lightened weight of the platform, the Rise Armament 1121XR includes a number of elements designed to reduce felt recoil for the shooter. In addition to its chambering in the low-recoil 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge, the rifle's 22-inch barrel is also crowned with the company's own RA-701 stainless-steel compensator, which works to reduce both recoil and muzzle rise, ensuring that shooters can easily stay on target for follow-up shots.
Surrounding the barrel is a 15-inch handguard machined from billet aluminum. The design incorporates a number of M-Lok-compatible attachment slots down its entire length, enabling users to customize their platform to fit their particular needs. Additionally, the rifle is equipped with Rise Armement's own RA-535 Advanced-Performance Trigger, which provides a short, crisp trigger pull measuring 3.5 pounds. The trigger also has a short reset that offers the opportunity for quick follow-ups.
Other features of the Rise Armament 1121XR 6.5 Creedmoor rifle include the company's own high-quality bolt-carrier group, which features an easily cleaned black-nitride finish. The gun comes with a Cerakote finish available in black, foliage green or flat dark earth. Each rifle ships with a hard-sided case and two 10-round magazines and sells at a suggested retail price of $2,449.
