Billed as the "Ultimate 92 Package," Ernest Langdon of Langdon Tactical and Beretta came together to build an all-new model of the company's flagship handgun: the Beretta 92 Elite LTT. This new model takes the classic M9A1 pistol frame and blends it with the popular Vertec slide used on the company's latest M9A3 pistol, along with a number of other enhancements.

"Beretta’s commitment to listening and building guns customers request is something shooters have hoped for from all manufacturers," Ernest Langdon said. "I think this is the most shootable platform to date. We took the favored M9A1 frame, the Vertec slide, adding front cocking serrations and an exclusive radiused trigger guard to create the flattest and softest shooting full-size 92 package."

In addition to the forward cocking serrations on the popular Vertec M9A3 slide, consumers will also find a fiber-optic front sight paired with a square-notch rear on the G-Model decocker-only handgun. Inside the slide is a 4.7-inch barrel machined from stainless steel that features a target crown for enhanced performance and accuracy. The gun is also loaded with a solid-steel guide rod as well as beveling on the rear of the slide.

On the classic M9A1 pistol frame, users will find a Picatinny accessory rail for lights and lasers. The front strap and backstrap of the pistol are textured with cut checkering for enhanced grip, and the magazine well is beveled to promote rapid reloading of the gun under high-stress conditions. Unlike the standard M9A1 pistol frame, this model does not feature a lanyard loop. Each gun is completed with thin G10 grips developed through a collaboration between VZ Grips and Langdon Tactical.

Other features on the Langdon Tactical Beretta 92 Elite LTT include an oversized mag release, D Model hammer spring and a skeletonized hammer. The suggested retail price on the handgun starts at $999.
