With helpful suggestions and input from a number of professional shooters in law enforcement, military and competition circles, Century Arms rolled out several upgrades in its Canik TP9SA Mod.2 pistol.

“The TP9SA Mod. 2 is the next evolution of our time tested, proven, and incredibly popular TP9SA,” said Jason Karvois, Century Arms director of sales. “With a refined slide profile, new Warren Tactical sights, enhanced decocker, and a retail price of $399, the new and improved SA Mod.2 is sure to continue to be one of our most popular models.”

Built with a striker-fired action, the TP9SA Mod.2 provides consumers with a single-action trigger pull that's designed to allow for rapid follow-up shots. Accuracy and rapid-fire capabilities are enhanced through the use of the gun's new Warren Tactical sights, which are purpose-built to direct shooters to the front sight, enabling faster transitions between targets and enabling users to get on target quicker in the first place.

One of the other benefits of the new Century Arms TP9SA Mod.2 is the aggressive grip texturing located on the side panels, front strap, backstrap and thumb pads on the frame, ensuring that any user's grip remains solid and locked into place during rapid strings of fire. Another element of the new pistol design is the low-profile disassembly button located at the top rear area of the slide. The slide itself features a flat profile that aids in sight acquisition.

Other features of the gun includes its 18-round magazine capacity and built-in Picatinny accessory rail on the frame. The slide features deep serration at the rear to aid in racking, press-checking and other manipulations. Each pistol ships with a polymer paddle holster, belt attachment, interchangeable backstraps, a cleaning rod, cleaning brush, magazine loader and two magazines in a plastic case. The Century Arms Canik TP9SA Mod.2 is available in a black or flat dark earth Cerakote finish and sells at a suggested retail price of $399.
