Meprolight - a leading manufacturer of electro-optic systems for armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilian markets - launches its full day/night solution for dismounted soldiers at Eurosatory, June 11-15, Paris, Israel Pavilion, Hall 6, Booth #D691.  The solution is comprised of the NOA XT4 - a dual-use clip-on and hand-held thermal weapon/surveillance sight, and MEPRO 4X - a compact telescopic day sight with 4x magnification. The company will also showcase its entire portfolio, including the recently introduced MEPRO NOA NYX uncooled thermal weapon sight and the MEPRO MOR multi-purpose reflex sight.

The NOA XT4 is the newest member of the Uncooled Thermal Weapon sights family. Compact and lightweight, the dual-use Thermal Weapon/Surveillance clip-on is designed for the dismounted soldier - enhancing the soldier's tactical action by providing easy thermal clip-on for mounting in-line with a 4x day magnifier or used as a handheld viewer. In a matter of seconds, the MIL-STD NOA XT4 converts the user's combat 4x riflescope into a Thermal Weapon 4x Sight. The NOA XT4 instantly provides the user with a Thermal Sight picture without change in eye relief or weapon zero, allowing engagement of targets through darkness, smoke, or fog. Because the user's Daytime optic is unchanged, the sight's settings and reticles remain identical. Extremely rugged and shock-proof, the NOA XT4 mounts directly on a forward Picatinny rail. The flexible battery chamber utilizes AA or CR123 batteries, according to user requirements in the field. Providing continuous operation of more than 7 hours, the sight includes a motion sensor for automatic sleep mode. The solution delivers 1x magnification when working with 4x magnifier and 2x or 4x electronic zoom when operating as a thermal viewer.

The new MEPRO 4X is a fix 4x magnification, compact and lightweight (320 gr), telescopic day sight. Utilizing a quick release Picatinny adaptor, this MIL-STD sight provides five different brightness settings. Energy efficient, the sight operates on a single battery and features auto-shutdown after one hour.

According to Golan Kalimi, Meprolight's VP Marketing, "We are pleased to present a complete advanced day and night solution for soldiers. These sights enable maximum flexibility for use in daylight or at night, in either the clip-on or hand-held format - according to changing field scenarios. No doubt, this flexibility significantly contributes to the soldier's operational capabilities. The sight was developed as a result of our close cooperation with our customers and our understanding of demands from the field."
