For years, Magpul has been the go-to source for AR-15 furniture upgrades, and the company added yet another option for AR aficionados with its MOE SL-S Carbine Stock.

The MOE SL-S (The extra "S" stands for Storage) is a direct-replacement stock for any AR-15 equipped with a standard mil-spec buffer tube. The stock features dual-side release latches for length-of-pull adjustment, while waterproof battery tubes give users extra storage options. the storage tubes are sealed with O-rings and are rated waterproof up to a depth of 10 meters.

Magpul has upgraded the ergonomics of the MOE SL-S, providing an enhanced cheek weld and a rolled toe and angled rubber butt pad that are designed to work with body armor. In addition, the stock features quick-detach sling swivel sockets.

To improve fit, the company added a leaf-spring tension system that anchors the stock onto any mil-spec buffer tube while providing less friction than the original SL stock. Total weight of the stock is 12.8 ounces with a maximum length of 7.3 inches and a width of 2.4 inches. Total adjustment range is 3.3 inches.

The Magpul MOE SL-S Carbine Stock comes in black, flat dark earth, stealth gray and olive drab green and retails at a suggested price of $79.95.
