The new Advanced Small Arms Cleaning Kit (SACK) contains everything needed to properly maintain a military-style weapon in the field and in garrison, including Leatherman's weapons Maintenance Utility Tool, the MUT.
The SACK system was designed to offer soldiers a compact, all-in-one solution to simplify and speed-up the weapon maintenance process. At the barracks or in the field, the system provides soldiers with the essential products needed to clean and maintain their firearms including gun cleaner, lubricant, brushes, jags and a variety of other practical tools.
Three essential products in the SACK system are the M-Pro 7 Gun Cleaner, M-Pro 7 Gun Oil LPX and the Leatherman MUT. The M-Pro 7 Gun Cleaner improves weapon performance by removing layers of fouling and embedded carbon while conditioning the bore to help prevent future build-up.
Formulated from technology with the lowest known friction coefficient, M-Pro 7 Gun Oil LPX provides unparalleled protection against wear, humidity and moisture (including salt water) and leaves a long-lasting film that repels dust and dirt.
The third essential, the MUT tool, was designed by Leatherrman in partnership with professional and military shooters. Features include those specific for weapons maintenance (carbon scraper, takedown punch, bolt override tool, brush/rod attachments, screwdrivers sized for optics adjustments) as well as those for general utility (knife, saw, screwdrivers, pliers, wire/hard-wire cutters, etc.). The MUT is backed by Leatherman's industry-leading 25-year warranty and comes with a MOLLE sheath and accessory wrench for optics mounting.
