European American Armory has announced the release of the new Girsan Witness 2311 C 10mm double-stack 1911-style pistol.

These new pistols are outfitted with a 4.25-inch barrel and a standard magazine capacity of 15 rounds along with a slide milled from the factory for the popular Shield RMSc micro-reflex-sight footprint pattern. These new handguns have a standard retail price of $1,029, making them affordable and competitively priced in the double stack 1911 category. Besides packed with the power of the 10mm cartridge and an increased magazine capacity compared to a single stack 1911, the new EAA Girsan Witness 2311 also has handy features like an extended beavertail grip safety, a flared magazine well, robust cocking serrations on the slide and ambidextrous safeties. The front dustcover also has built in Picatinny rails in order to accept accessories such as tactical lights.

EAA’s National Sales manager Chase Duffey said, “The Witness2311 in 10mm is a game changer for the double stack market, as no one has the price and quality to match. [It’s] another first for EAA. EAA and Girsan leading, not following.”

As a bonus and gesture meant for the very first buyers of these brand new 10mm double stack 1911 pistols, EAA and Girsan are shipping the first batch of 3,000 guns to be sold with EAA’s solar-powered FAR DOT optic at no extra cost. This micro optic is designed around two integral rear dot fibers that provide the shooter sights sights directly built into the FAR DOT itself. This Shield RMSc footprint based sight is one of the smallest micro dots on the market today and uses a 4-MOA aiming point.
