XTech Tactical is now offering a new American made, 30-round standard capacity 7.62x39mm Kalashnikov-pattern magazine, the MAG47 Elite. XTech brought the new MAG47 Elite magazine to market in order to give AK shooters a choice for a smooth sided and slimmer profile magazine that had the same level of durability and reinforcement as their popular MAG47 Mil magazine but without the waffle pattern texturing.

In the world of military factory produced AK-47 magazines, perhaps none are better renowned than the “Circle 10” Bulgarian produced “waffle pattern” magazines. These magazines are sturdy and extremely reliable and sought after by serious AK shooters and collectors alike. XTech Tactical sought out to start making a Kalashnikov pattern magazine in the United States that met or exceeded the Circle 10’s legendary standards, and the product was their MAG47 Mil.

The MAG47 Elite is designed to fit most AK pattern rifles. There is also a version of the magazine with an available bolt hold open (BHO) option. The feed lips, locking lugs and rear tab of the Elite are all made from stainless steel. The magazine body is made from a durable composite material and the magazine spring itself is also made from stainless steel and has an anti-binding design. The floorplates on these magazines are also user friendly and have a quick-release function for easy access to clean out the magazine body or for repairs.

“This was our last step in positioning ourselves as the leader of the US made AK47 magazine market. The ELITE is another option to go hand in hand with the MAG47 and MAG47 MIL”, stated Jeremy Deadman, the director of sales and marketing of XTech Tactical.

The MAG47 Elite retails for $38. For more information, please visit XTech Tactical’s website at xtechtactical.com.
