XS Sights, based in Ft. Worth, TX, is now selling two new rear-sight-pusher tools that are meant for use with Glock semi-automatic, striker-fired pistols.
The DIY Series and Gunsmith Series tools are quick and easy to use and make the installation of rear sights on Glock slides a breeze. These rear sight pushers are designed to work with all Glock models and generations, but customers will need to specify their specific slide dimensions, as there are currently three different widths of Glock slides: standard, slim and wide. Because both the DIY and Gunsmith units have an open top design, working with taller suppressor height rear sights or with slides that already have a mounted electronic red dot sight becomes very easy.
“Knowledge from our 25-plus years of sight manufacturing and Gunsmithing experience went into the development of these inline rear sight pusher tools, and we are excited to give Glock owners such versatile sight pushers that are easy to use and work with all Glock pistols,” said Addison Monroe, Marketing Manager, XS Sights. “Portability is an important factor, so we used an aluminum body that is 40-percent lighter than other Glock-only sight pushers on the market. Compatibility with suppressor-height sights and red dot optics was another key consideration, given the increasing popularity of both. The design gives ample clearance for taller sights and allows windage adjustments to the rear sight of MOS pistols while keeping the red dot sight attached to the slide.”
These units are made from 6061 T6 hard coat anodized aluminum and weigh between 1.4 and 1.8 pounds and includes installation accessories and lubricant. Retail pricing for the DIY Series starts at $150, while the Gunsmith Series retail price is set at $200.
