With its line of affordable red-dot optics and other aiming options, TruGlo has long been a go-to for budget-minded consumers looking to outfit rifles and handguns. Now, for 2019, TruGlo's engineering team has developed three new models in the popular TRU-TEC Micro red-dot optics series, with options for a wide variety of gun owners:

TRU•TEC MICRO with 45-Degree Mount (TG8100BM Model)

Designed for the competitor and tactical shooter who understands the value of red-dot sight as a backup or dedicated close-range optic. The MICRO has a machined and anodized aluminum 45-degree offset Picatinny-style mount that combines with the original TG8100B optic, allowing you to quickly set up your optic on the included angled mount for easy use from either side of your rifle.

TRU•TEC MICRO with Green Dot (TG8100BM Model)

The new “G” model has a 3-MOA green dot for shooters who prefer the daytime advantages of a green reticle.

TRU•TEC MICRO with RMR Footprint (TG8200B Model)

The new TG8200B red dot is compatible with Trijicon RMR-style mounts and accessories, including optic-ready pistol slides. The Original TG8100B red dot uses a mounting system that is compatible with Docter, Burris, Vortex and other brands of optics which share a similar mounting system.

“The TRU•TEC Micro is an inherently versatile optic. It is great on a competition pistol slide, as well as a turkey shotgun. Adding more options to this family of optics just increases the range of potential applications for our customers,” said Pliny Gale, TruGlo product marketing manager. The new models will even continue to share a similar price point—coming in at a lower price than many competitive options. These are currently shipping to dealers and distributors and are available on the company's website.
