Things move quickly in the world of tactical flashlights. At one time, 600 lumens meant you owned the night; now lights of 1,000 lumens or more are becoming more popular. The AA and CR123 batteries that have powered so many lights are being eclipsed by new, more powerful lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. Keeping those powerful but expensive batteries organized and ready for action is why Thyrm has developed a next-generation CellVault that is designed to protect 18-series spare batteries while still keeping them handy for immediate use.

“The new CellVault-18 includes features we know our customers are going to love, like side windows that help them verify gear status, a metal locking latch, and fully-waterproof, double-layer construction, " Andrew Frazier, CEO of Thyrm, said. "We’re really proud of how the design came together and can’t wait to get them in the hands of first-responders and outdoor enthusiasts alike.”

The CellVault-18 weighs 1.8 ounces and is 7.5 inches tall, 4 inches wide and has a thickness of 1.6 inches. It takes up just one column of MOLLE/PALS webbing on your gear, allowing you to keep spare batteries handy wherever you go. The CellVault-18 is available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, Olive Drab, Rescue and Urban Grey colors.

Thyrm CellVault-18 Battery Storage Features
