Swampfox Optics just announced a new first-focal-plane (FFP), low-power variable optic (LPVO), the Warhorse 1-6X. The Warhorse is the next evolution of Swampfox riflescopes and was developed and extensively tested to meet the high expectations of the company's existing customer base and needs of the modern rifle shooter.
Designed for smooth transitions from 1X to 6X magnification, Warhorse was built for rapid target acquisition and long-range precision shooting. Built on the legacy of Swampfox riflescopes, the latest LPVO has a 34mm tube diameter, 24mm objective lens and a parallax setting of 100 yards, delivering an expansive field of view at varying distances and consistent eye relief across its entire magnification range.
Inside the Warhorse are high-quality, multi-coated, anti-fog, and hydrophobic lenses, while on the outside there is a push/pull locking elevation turret with zero reset and capped windage turret, Warhorse offers secure and precise .25 MOA/.1 MIL adjustments and also features a 12-position illumination turret with intermittent on and off settings, powered by a side-mounted CR2032 battery for lasting performance. Shooters can choose between MOA or MIL glass-etched illuminated reticle options and take advantage of night vision-compatible, low light, and daylight bright settings.
Despite its compact and lightweight design, the Warhorse is capable of withstanding shocks up to 1,100 G and is IPX7 rated to ensure reliability despite heavy recoil, accidental drops and all-weather conditions.
