Springfield Armory is introducing the Ronin Operator 4.25-inch, a compact, lightweight, rugged and reliable Commander-length 1911 pistol that is built for a lifetime of service but still offered at a very attractive retail price.

The new Ronin Operator 4.25-inch 1911 combines light weight and ease of carry with rugged reliability and strength, making it ideal for everyday carry. The pistol is available in both 9 mm or .45 ACP, and both models feature a hot-salt blued, forged slide with a lightweight, satin Cerakote-finished forged alloy frame for an attractive, two-tone appearance. The forged frame and slide are the heart and soul of Springfield Armory 1911 pistols. This method produces a pistol that is strong and durable, setting this gun apart from similar models in this price range which rely on cast frames.

Available in 9 mm and .45 ACP, the Ronin Operator 4.25-inch offers shooters all the performance of the 1911, in a smaller, more compact size. The Gen 2 Speed Trigger of the Ronin Operator is streamlined and skeletonized for optimal performance. The front sight has a fiber-optic pipe for fast sight acquisition, and the rear sight has two white dots and is optimized for use in emergency one-handed gun manipulations. The grip safety at the rear of the frame has a beavertail and a raised "memory bump" for positive engagement.

Ronin Operator 4.25-inch Features

  • 4.25-inch barrel
  • 30 ounce weight (unloaded)
  • Commander length, GI-style slide and frame
  • Available in .45 ACP and 9 mm
  • Lightweight aluminum frame
  • Tactical rack rear sight
  • Crossed cannon laminate grips
