SOG Knives has just launched the new Bulwark folding pocketknife in collaboration with master knife designer Mikkel Willumsen. The SOG Bulwark is based on a minimalist and lightweight design philosophy with a distinctive weight, profile and shape size.

This folding pocketknife has an overall weight of only 6¼ ounces and uses a robust, 3-inch drop-point blade profile. The blade is constructed from D2 tool steel that measures 3.6 mm thick and a skeletonized micarta handle. The drop point profile which is a useful profile for a working blade and is also a signature Mikkel Willumsen's design philosophy. Each part of this knife fuses durability and ergonomics to create one of the most comfortable EDC tools with one of the most secure holds available from any knife on the market today.

Mikkel Willumsen is a Danish knifemaker who has been actively working on and designing knives in Copenhagen, Denmark since 1998. His background is in both wood and metalworking with a true passion for knifemaking. His designs equally specialize in EDC (everyday carry) knives as much as more tactically style knives.
