Silencer Shop CAT SC Suppressor

Texas-based Silencer Shop just unveiled the new CAT SC “Street Crack” suppressor. This new silencer was developed by Combat Application Technologies (CAT) exclusively for Silencer Shop and is meant for use with 9mm handguns. The unit is built around modularity and is composed of two pieces using modern additive manufacturing (3-D printing) technologies.

CAT also incorporates some of its unique technologies in the design of the new CAT SC silencer, such as the “CAT DiVerge” and “Surge Bypass” technologies. These features ensure that sound suppression is both quiet and efficient, and they also help to moderate backpressure issues. In addition to this, they also make it easier to use a wider range of ammunition through the host handgun without having the need to tune and swap recoil springs or test various loads of ammo.

“We are committed to offering our customers the best products available, and CAT keeps creating incredibly impressive silencers.” said Dave Matheny, CEO of Silencer Shop. “Silencer Shop is proud to be the exclusive distributor of the CAT SC, and we know our customers will appreciate the performance and innovation behind it.”

Silencer Shop / CAT Street Crack 9mm Suppressor Features:

  • Manufactured using modern 3-D printing for better efficiency
  • DLC Finish (Diamond Like Coating)
  • CAT Surge Bypass Technology - Quieter and smoother shooting experience for projectiles with muzzle velocity between 1,000 to 1,200 feet per second
  • No minimum length barrel requirement
  • Includes piston with ½x28-tpi mount to make it easy to attach to numerous firearms

The new CAT SC “Street Crack” suppressor has an MSRP of $1,190. To learn more about this new product, visit Silencer Shop’s website at silencershop.com.
