SecureIt Biometric Gun Storage

SecureIt Gun Storage has just announced the addition of biometric accessibility to the FastBox line of gun storage systems.

The new implementation of the biometric accessibility technology is meant to allow authorized users to unlock any SecureIt storage container with a simple fingerprint scan while getting rid of the need to use keys or lock combinations. This biometric accessibility system was designed with speed, security and ease of use in mind.

The FastBox series of gun storage systems are a “decentralized” option. It consists of modular mini safes that hold one or two firearms. FastBoxes can be concealed discreetly around the home while also keeping unauthorized users away from the contents stored inside. FastBoxes are suitable for use in buildings or structures outside the home including officers, camps, vehicles and RVs. They’re available in different sizes that can hold anything from handguns, intermediate length firearms or full-size scoped rifles and shotguns.

“At SecureIt, we’re always looking for ways to enhance firearm security and usability,” said Tom Kubiniec, CEO of SecureIt Gun Storage. “The new biometric access gives users a new level of security and the fastest possible access in a high stress scenario. SecureIt launched biometric keypads for the Agile and Answer product lines earlier this year, integrating the new features into their current designs and ensuring a clean, user-friendly interface that doesn’t compromise the durability or flexibility customers expect from SecureIt products. Importantly, the original access options are still available, including a customizable push button keypad and two override keys, ensuring flexibility for all users.”
