Savage Arms offers a wide variety of popular rimfire rifles in a number of different calibers and styles for an array of different purposes. Now they are introducing their new Minimalist Mark II, 93 and 93R17 rifles with a distinctly different stock design. The Minimalist combines a laminate stock for lightweight strength with other additional features designed for excellent usability in the field. The bolt-action Minimalist has a button-rifled barrel and user-adjustable AccuTrigger to deliver the legendary Savage accuracy in .22 LR, .22 WMR, and .17 HMR calibers.

“Minimalist takes Savage rimfire in a new direction,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing for Savage. “The laminated stocks are ideal for older youth and adult shooters, yet the rifle weighs only 5.68 pounds. If you’re looking for a new option for plinking or hunting small game, Minimalist delivers.”

On top of the Minimalist’s carbon steel action is a two-piece, pre-installed Weaver-style scope, which allows you to get the most out of the cost-effective rimfire ammunition by topping these bolt-action rifles with the scope or red-dot optic of your choice. Lightweight and trimmed-down, the Minimalist series gives you everything you need in a bolt-action rimfire rifle, without a lot of fancy (and expensive) frills and extras.

Savage Minimalist Features

  • Bolt action rimfire chambered in .22 LR, .22 WMR, and .17 HMR
