Rival Arms is expanding its line of premium aftermarket handgun and rifle components by offering the precision long-range shooter its new adjustable ST-3X Precision Rifle Stock.

Many precision rifle chassis systems use a buffer-tube style attachment that is based on available AR-15 rifle stock systems. However, because the needs of an AR-15 user can be different than the needs of a precision rifle shooter, only a few of these options translate well to precision bolt-action rifles. The Rival Arms ST-3X stock uses the same mounting system but one that is purpose built for chassis rifles. This creates a narrow profile by using an adjustable cheek riser that passes through stock, something that is not possible with typical AR-15 stocks.

The ST-3X Precision stock is made in the U.S. and is finished with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish. The stock weighs 28 ounces and is machined from billet aluminum for maximum consistency, strength, and rigidity. Shooters can easily adjust the comb height and length of pull, and the recoil pad can be adjusted vertically and canted to better fit their body type. The cheek pad is also reversible to fit shooters of all sizes for an even more customized fit.

The machined aluminum frame of the ST-3X Precision stock includes a downward-facing M-Lok slot to attach monopods, Picatinny-rail sections or other accessories. There are also Ambidextrous flush cups machined into the stock for use with quick-detach sling systems. The ST-3X installs onto any chassis similar to an AR-15 stock, with a 1-3/16-inch thread. The stock then locks into place with the included castle nut. There is also an anti-rotation set screw that allows builders to properly set the alignment before fully tightening the castle nut.

The Rival Arms ST-3X stock has an MSRP of $236.99. For more information on this item, or other products from Rival Arms, please visit rival-arms.com.
