Gun-Max is available in 12-ounce aerosol cans and 4-ounce bottles and contains inhibitors that, according to Real Avid, displace more moisture and deliver extended corrosion protection when compared to other leading gun oils and CLP’s. During testing in a harsh and corrosive salt-spray chamber, Gun-Max says their product outperformed all the other products tested when it came to providing longer-lasting corrosion protection. The oil is also chemically engineered with anti-friction additives which bond to metal surfaces in order to perform under friction and provide long-lasting lubrication of moving metal parts.
Gun-Max is chemically formulated to remain fluid at -20 Degrees Fahrenheit and won’t become sludge when the weather turns arctic.
