Loaded with all the tools needed for a range of wrenching scenarios on any AR-15, the Real Avid AR-15 Armorer's Master Kit is purpose-built to provide fan's of America's most-popular modern sporting rifle with a go-to resource for modifying or maintaining their guns. With this kit, Real Avid aims to make it easier than ever for consumers to build or update their guns with the latest components from today's firearm manufacturers.

"We came up with a solution for armorer’s and home builders alike," said Howard Tripp, chief innovation officer at Real Avid. "They’ve been waiting for a professional set of tools that makes them more capable and better prepared to take care of their guns. This is a complete kit of the most professional grade tools ever assembled in an organized carrying case, and we’re excited to bring it to market."

Each Real Avid AR-15 Armorer's Master Kit has eight critical tools for today's tinkerers, starting with an absolute must-have for today's AR owner: the Armorer's Master Wrench. Built with a specially designed ergonomic handle that aids users in applying consistent torque on critical areas of the rifle, the master wrench aims to give AR enthusiasts the tool they need to remove stubborn barrel and castle nuts without marring or stripping. On the flip side of this same application, the handle ensures that users can apply consistent, accurate pressure while installing commonly replaced or upgraded components, like muzzle devices, castle nuts, barrel nuts and receiver extensions. The Real Avid master wrench also stands out as one of the only options on the market to feature an integrated armorer's hammer.

Other tools included in the Armorer's Master Kit are a Pivot Pin Tool, which aids in the often-frustrating task of installing the spring and detent that lock the takedown pins at the front and rear of the receiver into place. With this guide, the spring and detent can be inserted without issue, as the tool aids the user in sliding the pin into place without any chance of launching a small detent into the ether. An Easy Grip Handguard Removal Tool, Specialized Pin Punch Set and Torque Wrench round out the tools included with the kit, which provide users with every tool needed to built an AR-15 from the ground up without marring, over-torquing or under-torquing any one component.

However, the kit doesn't end there! Each Real Avid AR-15 Armorer's Master Kit also includes the components necessary to keep your AR-15 stable and secure while working, with a Lug-Lok Upper Vise Block that locks into the lugs on the barrel extension of your upper receiver, holding it secure as you work. This ensures that no stress is placed on weak components in the upper receiver, placing stress solely on the one point in the upper receiver designed to withstand it. The AR-15 Smart Fit Vise Block does the same thing for the lower receiver, it having been designed to fit within the magazine well of the lower receiver. This holds the lower secure while leaving critical areas exposed for building and maintenance.

Finally, the Armorer's Master Kit also includes a Master Bench Block, which is a must-have for any AR-15 builder working on stripped upper and lower receivers. As anyone who has built an AR before knows, there are many little pins that need installing, and this bench block is purpose-built to aid builders installing those pins, providing install points for 13 different pins involved in building an AR. The overmolded block protects against marring, and the surface of the block is engraved to guide builders in choosing what punches to use with different pins.

The suggested retail price on the Real Avid AR-15 Armorer's Master Kit is $249.99.
