Pietta Firearms, best known for replica Western and vintage style firearms, has just unveiled a new single-action revolver–the King Trio. This new revolver will be sold exclusively through Davidson’s, a national firearms distributor.

The King Trio is Western-style single-action revolver with a bore diameter of .357 inches that ships with three different cylinders for three different cartridges including .357 Mag, 9 mm and .38 Super. The King Trio includes some classically styled accents such as a brass backstrap and trigger guard, and the pistols are also adorned with a set of polished walnut stocks. Other major metal components, such as the frames and hammers, include case hardening. These single-action revolvers are offered with barrel lengths of 4¾ and 5½ inches. Of course, .357 Mag. cylinders will accommodate a .38 Spl. cartridges, adding a fourth option.

“I personally have never seen anyone offer a three-cylinder single-action revolver before. I have a feeling that not only will this first group be sold out quickly, but it will become a staple within our collection,” said Alberto Pietta. “The beauty of the King Trio is in its simplicity. Along with Davidson’s we’ve developed a gun that is at a great price point and is very much like buying four guns in one. We cannot wait to hear the feedback from all our loyal customers.”
