PHLster, the innovative concealment company responsible for the successful Enigma Concealment System, is announcing the official release of the PHLster Floodlight 2, the next generation of its other best-selling product, the Floodlight holster.

The Floodlight 2 is the next step in PHLster’s best-selling Floodlight series, the universal ambidextrous AIWB/IWB (Appendix or Inside The Waistband) holsters that allow carriers to holster and conceal virtually any modern handgun that has an attached light. The trick to the Floodlight series’ universality is that the holster grips the specific pistol light, be it a Surefire X300 or Streamlight TLR, rather than the gun. Because the holster grips the light module and not the gun, this solves the challenges of many concealed carriers who favor pistols with hard to find concealment gear or accessories. Since these holsters are ambidextrous, the PHLster Floodlight series has also been a boon to left handed carriers who traditionally have never had as many holster options as right handed shooters.

The second iteration of the Floodlight is made from a different material and has a redesigned and re-contoured shell that reduces its outer footprint and profile known as “ComfortScape.” The ComfortScape contour still carries as flat as the original but takes up less space. Moreover, it has a series of grooves that allow sweat to evaporate in order to facilitate carry for long periods. Most notably, when working on this newest design, PHLster decided to exclusively use the sturdy 1.5-inch DCC belt clips. Gone are the upper slots meant for Pull-The-Dot soft loops. This new repositioning of clips does not affect concealability as the entirety of the Floodlight 2 has a different shape all together.

PHLster Floodlight 2 Features:

  • Adjusts to fit most full size and compact pistols with a Surefire X300U or Streamlight TLR, lights fit more precisely than the original version
  • Fully ambidextrous out of the box
  • Built-in concealment and comfort features, constructed from high-strength polymer
  • Fits slide-mounted optics, suppressor height sights, threaded barrels and pistol compensators
  • Can be carried AIWB (Appendix Inside The Waistband) or Strongside IWB (Inside The Waistband)

MSRP for the Phlster Floodlight 2 is $138, and for more information on this holster or other products from Phlster, please visit phlsterholsters.com.
