It comes in colors everywhere

Taurus USA is now offering its popular 856 UL (Ultra-Lite) snub nosed revolvers with different color frames and finishes.

The new color options for the 856 Ultra-Lite are:

  • Blue frame/black cylinder and barrel
  • Blue frame/stainless cylinder and barrel
  • Cherry frame/black cylinder and barrel
  • Copper frame/black cylinder and barrel
  • Green frame/black cylinder and barrel
  • Rose gold frame/stainless cylinder and barrel

"The 856 Ultra-Lite is basically the perfect carry revolver, and adding a splash of color to it allows shooters to have a sense of personalization with their gun," said Caleb Giddings, Brand Marketing Manager at Taurus. "Plus, like all the other 856s in our lineup, these colorful options still have a replaceable front sight, so you can tailor your sights to your preferred round."

The 856 family of revolvers is Taurus’s flagship model in the double action, compact frame snubnosed and carry revolver category. 856 models are only slightly larger than competing designs from other manufacturers, while holding six rounds of .38 Special +P ammo instead of only five found in other models. Taurus offers these guns to buyers with either 2- or 3-inch barrels. When it comes to their UL (Ultra Lite) guns, these revolvers are built from a lighter aluminum alloy for EDC (everyday carry) and all-day comfort–and now available in more, limited edition colors.

While all members of the 856 product family have fixed rear sights that are part of the revolver’s top strap, front sights can be easily changed out by simply removing a retaining roll pin. In addition to this, companies like XS Sights already offer aftermarket night sight options for the 856.

MSRP for the 856 Ultra-Lite varies by model. To learn more about these new revolver designs or other product from Taurus, please visit taurususa.com
