Mesa Tactical has just launched the Truckee fore-end, a series of new M-Lok equipped sliding fore-ends compatible with all Remington 870-pattern pump-action shotguns. Since the fore-end on any pump action shotgun is used to vigorously cycle the shotgun, fastening accessories has always been challenging task for defensive shotgun owners. The Truckee is manufactured from 6061 aluminum and is available in three different lengths, 7.5, 9 and 10.5 inches. The sides and bottom of the fore-end are outfitted with M-Lok-pattern slots as a way to simplify the attachment of accessories to these pump action shotguns.
“Few Mesa Tactical products in the last few years have generated as much excited around the shop as the Truckee friends for the Remington 870. We are very excited to finally be offering an aluminum fore-end to this venerable workhorse platform, It might not be the first aluminum fore-end for the Remington 870, but it’s the first we’ve seen,” said Mitch Barrie, president of Mesa Tactical.
