Magpul DT PR Stock

Magpul just started shipping a new stock for AR-15 pattern rifles and carbines, the Magpul DT PR stock. The Magpul DT PR Carbine stock is designed with Magpul’s DT (dual tension) system, which is meant to eliminate play between a carbine’s buffer tube and the carbine stock itself. In addition to reducing wiggle by ensuring that the stock is locked up solidly against the buffer tube, the snagging of facial hair or facial skin is also reduced while shooting. The top part of the stock is backwards compatible with Magpul’s classic CTR style cheek risers and the bottom of the DT PR stock is contoured with a built-in bag rider so that shooters can better nest rear bags while shooting from the bench or from the prone for added stability.

DT-PR Carbine Stock Features:

  • New length-of-pull-adjustment Dual Tension system provides ease of adjustment while securing LOP placement, limiting secondary movements, and improving durability
  • Stock shape aids more precise shooting
  • Contoured butt-pad for improved shooter/stock interface
  • Compatible with CTR cheek risers when the stock is fully extended or on rifles without rear-facing charging handles
  • QD cups and footman’s loop for sling attachment

Magpul DR PR Stock Specifications:

  • Platforms: AR-10, AR-15, M-4, M-16, M-110, SR-25 pattern rifles and carbines
  • Compatibility: Mil-spec AR receiver extensions (buffer tubes)

  • Length of Pull Extended: 14.2 inches
  • Length of Pull Adjustment Range: 3.3 inches
