Red-dot pistol sights have become more and more popular over the last few years, and Holosun is expanding its line of pistol-sized red dot optics with the introduction of the new HE508T line. Designed specifically for pistol optics, this small and compact optic offers all of Holosun's featured technologies wrapped up in a tough and small package. Featuring Holosun’s Solar Fail Safe and Shake Awake technology, this optic can run up to 10 years on one battery, or 100,000 hours, on a mid-range brightness setting.

The Holosun HE508T is engineered to run on one battery for as long as possible, so even with its incredible 100,000-hour runtime, the unit is still designed to save battery power whenever possible. Holosun's Shake Awake technology preserves battery life by shutting down the optic when not in use but instantly turns on when needed.

If, for whatever reason, the battery fails, the Solar Fail Safe technology included in the HE508T also provides a natural light back-up if battery power isn't available. Solar Fail Safe uses panels on the top of the sight which gather environmental light to power the high efficiency L.E.D. that lights the reticle. The HE508T also has Multiple Reticle System technology which allows the user to select between a 32 MOA circle reticle,, a 2 MOA dot, or both together.

Keeping everything together is a CNC-machined titanium housing that is durable, corrosion resistant and lightweight. Holosun uses titanium to house its optics because it is half the weight but just as strong, and is also moisture and corrosion resistant like aluminum. The sight is also water resistant and has an Immersion Protection Rating of IPX8, which protects the device against environmental moisture and immersion in water.

The Holosun HE508T has an MSRP of $411.75 and will be available from at holosun.com and other authorized retailers.
