Hawke New Frontier Red Dot Sight

Hawke Optics has just released a new 1x22mm red dot sight, the New Frontier Red Dot. The Hawke Optics New Frontier is designed around the extremely popular Aimpoint Micro mounting standard / footprint and is meant to offer tactical shooters an affordable and value minded red dot sight.

The Hawke Optics New Frontier most important feature is perhaps its AIM system (Auto Illumination Mode) which boosts the unit’s battery life up to a lifespan of 50,000 hours. The Auto Illumination Model functions by automatically on turning the New Frontiers illuminated reticle when the unit senses motion and also by turning it off after two minutes of inactivity. Besides AIM, the Hawke Optics counts on ten different brightness levels, two of which are compatible with night vision optical devices. Lastly, the New Frontier also employs a high efficiency LED emitter that guarantees day light bright optics use. The 1x22mm Frontier Red Dot uses Hawke’s proprietary System H7 optics for the best possible clarity available and features a 2 MOA dot and 1/2 MOA adjustments for ultimate precision. High-grade aluminum construction, recessed brightness controls, guarded turrets and an IPX7 waterproof rating are additional features. The sight comes boxed with a low-profile Weaver/Picatinny mount, lower-1/3 co-witness mount with quick-release, and a Micro T-2 footprint for limitless mounting options. Also supplied with a honeycomb sunshade and protective flip-up covers.
