Hawke Optics recently released two new riflescope options, the new Hawke Optics Frontier 30 FD L4A and Frontier 30 FD LRX scopes. Both of these new models are 1-8x24mm LPVOs (low-power variable optic) scopes suitable for target shooting, recreational shooting, tactical shooting or other outdoors activities.

The Hawke Optics Frontier 30 FD L4A and 30 FD LRX are built on a 30 mm 6061 series aluminum main tube and use Hawke Optics’ H7 grade multi-coated optics glass. Because they are 1-8x LPVOs, these models have a fixed parallax but also are engineered to include a generous 4 inches of eye-relief. Both of these new scopes also use an illuminated reticle and are equipped with Hawke’s “auto illumination mode” (AIM), a system that helps extend battery life by shutting power off after 2 minutes with no movement in order to reduce battery drain.

The Frontier 30 FD L4A and LRX riflescopes feature two reticle options. The L4A FD reticle has an uninterrupted view of your target with thick side posts. The LRX - Tactical FD (8X) reticle adds distance hash marks for holdover on popular rounds like the 5.56 NATO, making longer distance shots easier during fast shooting occasions. It also features 2-MOA windage markers. Finally, both scopes use .5-MOA click values for windage and elevation adjustments.

Hawke Optics Frontier 30 FD Series Features:

  • Capped profile turrets
  • Wide angle field-of-view
  • 30mm single piece main tube
  • Illuminated reticles
  • 4 inches of eye relief
  • Hawke H7 Grade 21 layer multicoated lens
  • Fast focus eyepiece with locking ring
  • Removable zoom throw lever
  • Wide eyebox
  • Second focal plane reticle
  • Nitrogen purged, shockproof, waterproof and fog proof
  • Rated for all calibers

The new Hawke Optics Frontier 30 FD L4A and 30 FD LRX LPVOs retail for $999 and both include Hawke’s No-Fault lifetime warranty. To learn more about these new riflescopes or other optics offered by Hawke, visit Hawke Optic’s website at hawkeoptics.com.
