GiantMouse Knives has launched its newest fixed blade, the GMF2-FF. The knife was designed by world-famous knife designers Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes, who drew inspiration for the design of the knife and leather dangler sheath from the style of knives they grew up using in Denmark. Drawing on this inspiration and combining it with modern materials, they created an updated version on an old Nordic work blade. The original GiantMouse GMF2 fixed blade is no longer available, and now this updated version goes to a new level. The “FF” designation is for “full-flat,” which describes the blade grind, and the designers also decided to step up to M390 steel with this blade and top it off with a beautiful satin finish.

The GMF2-FF has a well-shaped contoured micarta handle, helping this fixed-blade design to be comfortable in the hand, easy to hold and hardy in the field. Whether you are shaving wood for a campfire, cutting rope for a hammock or performing any one of the myriad of tasks, the GMF2-FF will not let you down. As a crowning touch, each GMF2-FF knife comes with a handmade leather dangler sheath designed by the knifemakers specifically for this knife.
