Premier Body Armor is releasing the latest (Gen 2) version of its discreet and lightweight Level IIIA body armor system, designed with low visibility, comfort and everyday convenience in mind.

“Keep your traditional soft armor vest ready and on standby for emergency situations, but for daily use consider the Everyday Armor T-Shirt 2.0.” said Alex Stewart, President of Premier Body Armor. “This revolutionary product, now in its second generation, is the cutting edge of daily wear body armor. With the EAT2.0 you can wear real, Made in the USA, Level IIIA body armor all day without the awkwardness, discomfort, or lifestyle change that comes with a traditional bulletproof vest. This is the next evolution of EDC body armor.”

The Everyday Armor T-Shirt is made of a compression fabric that is anti-microbial and moisture-wicking. The shirt is designed with two pockets that will accept Premier Body Armor’s Level IIIA ballistic panels. Once in place, these panels cover the front and rear of the thoracic cavity, where all of the body’s vital organs are located. These panels are only 0.22-inch thick and weigh about 13 ounces each, while still meeting the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) requirements for a Level IIIA panel. Each panel is 7¾ X 12¾ inches in size, and first-generation ballistic panels are also compatible with the new second generation shirt.

Premier Body Armor’s Level IIIA’s insert panels are not only stab and slash proof, but they can also stop common handgun rounds like 9 mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP and .44 Mag., as specified by NIJ Standard 0101.06. These panels have also been threat-tested against 12-gauge slugs and buckshot, Liberty Civil Defense 9mm and the 5.7x28mm SS197SR round as well.

The Everyday Armor T-Shirt is available in black or white. The t-shirt and panel combination currently retails for $279 through Premier Body Armor directly. For more information, please visit their website at premierbodyarmor.com.
