Ed Brown 25th Anniversary Kobra Carry

Ed Brown Products celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Kobra Carry, one of the most popular, longest-running custom 1911 pistols out there. First released in 2000, the Kobra Carry was the first custom 1911 to include the Ed Brown Bobtail frame, Ed Brown Snakeskin treatment and to be available with an all stainless-steel finish.

Ed Brown's Kobra Carry has been mimicked in some form by just about every 1911 manufacturer in existence, large and small. Despite this, there's something about the original, and the Kobra Carry continues to be Ed Brown’s best-seller for 25 years in a row. This pistol is available to order for one year only, and no more orders will be taken for this limited-edition pistol after Dec 31, 2025.

The 25th Anniversary Kobra Carry is available in .45 ACP, has a barrel length of 4.25 inches and weighs approximately 35 ounces with an unloaded magazine inserted.

Kobra Carry Features

  • 4.25 inch Commander model slide, single stack Commander Bobtail frame.
  • Exclusive Snakeskin treatment on fore strap and Bobtail housing and slide.
  • Single-side, carry profile thumb safety.
  • Fixed black rear sight, orange HDXR front sight.
  • Custom options included: Recessed slide stop, flush barrel with recessed crown, heavy chamfer.

Special features included on the 25th anniversary edition:

  • Frame is engraved "25th Anniversary"
  • Exotic Cocobolo wood double diamond checkered grips, with EB logo
  • Available in all stainless or black Gen4 finish
  • Flat wire recoil spring system
  • Hex head magazine catch lock.
  • Stainless version also includes a stainless extractor and stainless ejector for a complete stainless look.

MSRP for the Ed Brown 25th Anniversary Kobra Carry 1911 is $3,295, and for more information on this pistol and other products from Ed Brown is available at edbrown.com.
