CZ-USA surprised the gun world a few years ago with the line of excellent, well-built centerfire suppressors. Now the company's taking that expertise and combining it with its acknowledged leadership in rimfire firearms and are introducing a new suppressor specifically designed for rimfire guns.

CZ is known for making rugged and accurate rimfire rifles, and the new CZ Rimfire Suppressor is built to blend into the heavy cylindrical barrels found on most of CZ's rimfire Varmint rifles. The suppressor features an external diameter of 0.866-inches and a length of 6.9 inches.

The new Rimfire Suppressor also features a screw-in baffle systems that optimizes the space inside the can of the suppressor, improving its ability to dampen sound of the round discharging without increasing the size or weight of the suppressor. This innovative design allows the new Rimfire Suppressor to weigh in at an incredibly low 2.5 ounces.

Due to the dirty nature of most of the rimfire ammunition out there, a rimfire-caliber suppressor needs to be cleaned on a regular basis. The CZ-USA Rimfire Suppressor also allows a shooter to tune the baffle system itself to work best with your favorite loads and calibers, and a guide is provided on the assembly/disassembly tool in order to space the internal baffles at regular distances, or vary those baffle depths to find the right mix for a specific load.

The CZ Rimfire Suppressor can be used on any rimfire round under .224-inch in diameter, including .17 HMR, .22 LR, .22 WMR, and .17 WSM.  Additionally, it is safe to use with .17 Hornet, .22 Hornet and even 5.7x28mm.
