Cosaint COS21 Compact Pistol

Cosaint Arms has just released another double stack 1911 handgun, the Cosaint Arms COS 21 Compact. With a shorter 3.5-inch bull barrel, this new gun is built and optimized as an EDC (everyday carry) pistol. The double-stack 1911 design is chambered for the popular 9mm cartridge and has a standard magazine capacity of 17 rounds. The smaller, Officer-model sized frame is constructed from aluminum rather than steel for a light weight and easy carry. In keeping with current trends, the slide on the COS 21 Compact is optics ready and comes with a C&H Precision mounting plate.

"We are thrilled to introduce the COS21 Compact to the market," said Greg Mooney, owner of Cosaint Arms. "Our team of engineers and designers have poured their expertise into creating a handgun that offers unmatched performance, reliability, and ease of use. The COS21 Compact is a testament to our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers, providing them with the confidence and trust they expect from Cosaint Arms."

Cosaint Arms includes two MBX made 17 round magazines. As double-stack 1911s are made by a wide variety of gunmakers at different price points, there is no such thing as a standard magazine brand for double-stacks. However, MBX is one of the “go-tos” in the double-stack magazine world. In addition to this, the new COS 21 will accept any quality 2011 magazine, giving you a wide range of options. However, it’s always best to verify the reliability of a given set of magazines and your carry ammunition prior to trusting them for self defense.

The Cosaint Arms COS 21 Compact has a starting retail price of $2,200 and is currently only available in 9mm. For more information on this new pistol or other products from Cosaint Arms, visit cosaintarms.com.
