Christensen Arms has recently launched a new high-performance, rimfire bolt-action rifle dubbed the Christensen Arms Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire. Christensen Arms guarantees each of these rifles to be able to shoot a three-shot, sub-MOA group at 50 yards directly out the box, using match-grade ammunition. The Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire is available in various rimfire chamberings including .22LR, .22 WMR (.22 Magnum) and .17 HMR. Barrels can be had in either 16-, 18- or 20-inch lengths.
“The Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire embodies two things for which Christensen Arms has become synonymous: accuracy and carbon-fiber technology,” said Christensen Arms Executive Vice President of Marketing Willie Vernon. “This tack-driving rifle packs an incredible number of performance-driven, shooter-friendly features into a compact design thanks to its folding stock, so it’s perfect for tossing into a range bag or strapping to your backpack. This is going to be your new favorite rimfire, hands down.”
True to its name, the Modern Precision Rifle Rimfire is set up like a contemporary, modern bolt-action target rifle and includes a freefloat chassis, a PRS-style pistol grip and a PRS-style adjustable folding stock. The top of the receiver has a built-in Picatinny rail base to facilitate the mounting of a scope base or scope rings. The entire rifle is made from a combination of different lightweight materials including aluminum and carbon fiber. The handguard also includes several M-Lok-compatible slots for accessories, and it comes with a Triggertech trigger. Customers have the ability to select a rifle the caliber and barrel length best-suited to fit their needs. Additional options also include three color finishes (Black, Desert Brown, and Tungsten) and two different handguard lengths (10.5 inches and 14 inches).
