Chiappa Firearms has unveiled the latest addition to its Badger product family, the new Chiappa Firearms Big Badger, a single-shot firearm series offered in .350 Legend, .30-30 Win. or .410-bore shotshell.

This larger format design is a response to demand from Chiappa’s customers for a larger version of the company’s hammer-fired, break-action Little Badger single shot firearms. The Chiappa Firearms Badger series were created as single shot utilitarian firearms with a minimalist design for use around the farm, backpacking, camping and other activities. Except for the revolver grip, the design is somewhat reminiscent of the old Marble’s Game Getter single shot firearm from over a century ago. Big Badger firearms include a cheek piece and a thick buttpad around their wire stocks.

The Big Badger folding single shot firearm can be had with three different chamberings: .350 Legend, .30-30 Win. or .410 bore shotshells. The rifled versions use a 20-inch threaded barrel that is compatible with suppressors or other muzzle devices that use a 1/2 x 28 inch thread. The shotgun version features a 20-inch barrel with a fixed fiber optic front sight and includes an interchangeable modified Beretta or Benelli Mobil choke. All three versions of the Chiappa Firearms Big Badger include M-Lok slots that are directly integrated into the fore end. In addition to this, the top and bottom surfaces of the fore end have Picatinny rails for mounting optics and accessories. Each model is equipped with a generous rubber recoil pad, crossbolt safety, and a 5/16 inch steel rod stock with an adjustable comb. When folded the Big Badger measures approximately 19.25 inches long by 6 inches wide.

Both rifles in the new Chiappa Firearms Big Badger collection have a starting retail price of $354 while the .410 shotgun version starts at $219. To learn more about the Big Badger or other firearms available from Chiappa, please visit chiappafirearms.com.
